2024 District Annual Meeting

Please join us for the East Central District Annual Meeting.  It will be held at FUMC Mount Dora on October 5th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Registration will begin at 9:30 am with morning snacks and coffee, tea, etc. Please bring your own reusable cup. The theme of the meeting is "Growing the Sisterhood!" We will be have unit and individual recognitions, a memorial service, and you don't want to miss "Trumpet Sound LIVE!" We will have lunch and a time of fellowship followed by our business meeting and new District Officer elections! We hope to see you there! The cost is $5.00 per person.  Please register by October 1st!

Our guest speaker will be Rev. Brian Carr, Director of Church Relations at Residing Hope (former Methodist Children's Home).  We will be collecting the following items for Residing Hope:  Hair gel (Eco Brand), Bath Mats (inside the shower), Female body wash, Dish cloths, Hair Brush (for thick, coarse hair), Pillows (twin size), Comforters (twin size, neutral colors), Hair conditioner.  We will also be taking a love offering for Residing Hope if you prefer to donate to a love offering.

Please bring a reusable cup for your drinks so that we can reduce waste.  We are excited to see you there and invite a friend so we can grow the sisterhood!
